Effective June 2026. Joulebit is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name and email address when you create an account. We also collect usage data — which concepts you explore, your session queries, and interaction patterns — to improve the platform. We do not collect payment card details; those are handled by Stripe.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Joulebit platform, authenticate your sessions, calculate usage-based billing, and send essential account communications. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate the platform — Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Anthropic (AI inference). Each provider is contractually bound to protect your data.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Session and usage logs are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
